We are very happy to introduce you to Bob Bevil, our new Campaigning Advocacy and Organising Lead at Chipping Barnet Foodbank.
Our vision is a society without the need for food banks, where everyone can afford to purchase sufficient healthy food and other necessities needed to maintain a life of dignity.
Bob’s new role has a borough wide remit, and it aims to explore and understand the experiences that are bringing people to need food bank support and to identify the local issues that are driving poverty. The ultimate aim is to develop a Local Influencing Strategy with the aim of changing policies and mindsets towards alleviating poverty in the Barnet area.
Bob is actively seeking to meet clients, volunteers, and other local organisations to understand the landscape of food insecurity in our Borough. If you are interested in chatting to Bob, you can contact him on:
