A massive CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU go out to 8 Howe of the ARK Pioneer Academy. This group of pupils and supporting staff adopted Chipping Barnet Foodbank as their chosen charity for the Give First initiative with a prize for the best presentation granted by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
On Monday afternoon the competition was stiff and there were some amazing charities brilliantly presented to the expert judging panel. There were also great examples of innovative social action. In the end, 8 Howe won through securing the prize of £1,000 for Chipping Barnet Foodbank.
Throughout the journey, it has been a pleasure to partner with our neighbours at The ARK Pioneer Academy with whom we support the same local community.
