Help Us Make a Difference This Harvest!

8th September 2026

We need your help this Harvest!

Harvest is a time when communities come together to share what they have. This year, we’re asking our local community to help us make sure that people facing hardship in Barnet have access to the food and essentials they need.

There are lots of ways you can support Chipping Barnet Foodbank this Harvest, whether you are an individual, a school, faith organisation, workplace, community group or local organisation.

Organise a Harvest collection

Could your school, faith organisation, workplace, community group or organisation organise a Harvest collection for us?

Whether you collect a few bags of food or fill a whole collection box, your donations will help us provide emergency food to local people when they need it most.

We have created a Harvest 2026 poster with information about the appeal and a list of the food items we currently need. You can download and share it with your school, faith organisation, workplace or community group.

Donate food

You don’t need to organise a collection to get involved.

You can simply add a few extra items to your shopping and donate them to Chipping Barnet Foodbank. Every donation, however large or small, helps us keep our shelves stocked and means we can continue providing emergency food to local people facing hardship.

Our food needs change throughout the year, so please check our Harvest 2026 poster for the items we are currently most in need of.

Make a financial donation

A financial donation is another valuable way to support us this Harvest.

Your donation helps us buy food and essential items that we may not receive enough of through food donations. It also gives us the flexibility to respond to changing demand and make sure we can provide the items people need.

Whether you donate £5, £10, £20 or more, your contribution will help us support local people facing hardship.

However you choose to help, thank you!

Whether you organise a collection, donate a few items from your weekly shop or make a financial donation, your support makes a real difference.

Together, we can help make sure that people in our community don’t have to face a crisis without food.
