Bringing the Living Wage to Barnet? A Launch & Learn Event!

Chipping Barnet Foodbank and Citizens UK have partnered to invite you to our event:

‘Bringing a Living Wage to Barnet? A Launch & Learn’. 

 The event will be on 12th November 7pm-9pm at St Peter’s Church Hall, 63 Somerset Road, New Barnet, EN5 1RF.

Chipping Barnet Foodbank, the Barnet Food Partnership in its Food Security Summit last year, and other anti-poverty groups in the borough, have identified the Living Wage as a key priority and want to bring community groups together to learn about the Living Wage and what we can do to bring the Living Wage to Barnet.

At the event we are encouraging participants to:

• Learn about what the Living Wage actually is from the Living Wage Foundation
• Learn about why the issue matters to the membership of Citizens UK, Chipping Barnet Foodbank , and the broader community in Barnet
• Build relationships between different community groups who care about economic justice
• Discuss how we can win change on this issue together!
