Barnet’s Food Security Crisis! Recommendation 1 from our Summit!

The London Borough of Barnet has about 20 traditional donation-based foodbanks mostly operating out of church halls and run almost exclusively by volunteers!

Our Food Security Summit calls for a partnership with the council to build innovative food provision models like social supermarkets and community pantries that offer choice, dignity, and meaningful support services to residents. It’s time to transform how we tackle food insecurity!
